I'm glad this one is not too focused on the atrocities but on a woman I knew nothing about. Her story truly intrigues me. I always feel like I have to talk myself into holocaust books, more so than other WWII fiction. I'm always glad I've read them, but I do find it draining. Your review has prompted me to just get on with it though! <br />So glad to have you along for bingo!Theresa Smith Writeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06512281965948873766noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3225702578587638474.post-89978579087411330702019-01-20T04:29:58.334+11:002019-01-20T04:29:58.334+11:00Glad to hear this was a good one. Another released around the same time (I think) was The Tattooist of Auschwitz, which my friend has *raaaved* about. I'm a bit exhausted with fictional WWII stories (All The Light We Cannot See, Life After Life), but when I see one that has at least a basis in fact, I sit up and pay attention. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on this one, it looks great!Sheree @ Keeping Up With The Penguinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09387035714160789080noreply@blogger.com
